GET TO KNOW ME
I grew up in Cape Coral, FL and spent my entire life living in FL until just this year! My family and I are now spending our days in the mountains of Tennessee, where you can find me outdoors most of the day.
I'm mostly introverted with extroverted tendencies. I think growing up as an only child instilled in me a desire for personal space and times of solitude, but becoming a mother has stretched me to the core. I've learned to adapt and multitask more efficiently. And even though I have learned to seek and hear the Lord amidst the chaos of life, I still very much enjoy my quiet time. I find solitude to be an essential practice in the Christian walk since the noise of the world so easily beckons us, often clouding His voice in our lives.
I received Jesus as Lord and Savior when I was in high school but soon after went my own way, delving into sexual temptations, drugs, and alcohol as a young teenager. At 18 years old, the Lord called me out of that lifestyle. By the grace of God, I have been walking in freedom and the newness of life in Christ since.
Since walking with the Lord, I've been blessed to serve through various ministry opportunities. I've been on many mission trips; I've been a missionary for a few years at FGCU; I've led discipleship groups; and I've spoken to various large groups. I started a mom's ministry and even directed a local Christian homeschool group serving over 20 families. I love being a part of the local church while using the gifts God has given me to serve.
Life has not been easy, as I've faced many losses, like losing many family members--including my mom--to sickness. Before getting pregnant, I suffered from multiple miscarriages and autoimmune disease diagnoses. But God has been so good to me through it all.
Through all of this, I have been given a voice to speak and write about parenting the Lord's way and in serving the Lord through life's trials. I have learned to trust Him in all circumstances as He has proven His faithfulness and love to me throughout nearly 20 years of following Him.

I love to travel. In fact, I've been to several different countries. The Lord led me to East Asia in my early 20s where I served alongside missionaries and pastors as an intern for a few months. The people I met there will always have a special place in my heart.
Upon graduating with my BA in English from FGCU, my plan was to teach English in Asia. I ended up meeting my husband in the second-to-last semester, and we committed to working as Chi Alpha Missionary Associates at FGCU for 2 years. The Lord redirected my plans in the best way, and I've been married to my handsome Canadian man for nearly 11 years! We have 2 beautiful girls and a sweet boy.
I enjoy spending time in nature, working on calligraphy pieces, going on spontaneous trips, hanging with my gal pals, and being an encouragement to the people God puts in my path.
At home, you can find me doing homeschool lessons with my girls, making meals, reading, journaling, praying, writing calligraphy, listening to worship music, and doing all the chores, haha. Our home is filled with all the tickles, girly giggles, twirling dresses, songs, silly dances, and lots of play and learning. We've been blessed with the conviction and opportunity to homeschool, which provides the time for our family to be on the road many days throughout the year. We're also able to do this because we own our own coffee business and have the best employees who go above and beyond to serve the community in SWFL.
We recently moved to Knoxville, TN to help plant a church with some dear friends of ours at Knoxville Mission Church. We're also here expanding our coffee business. Being in TN is surreal since we've wanted to move to to this state for many years. We have quite a few connections here and had been praying about coming for a long time. The Lord finally opened the door for us in 2026. We're blessed to be doing life here now, surrounded by a strong Christ-loving community.
